Andrew Akinbodewa hails from Ifirin-Afo in Ose Local Government of Ondo State. He is a product of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State (1996) and an alumnus of the University of Nottingham. He is a master artist who expresses himself with the interplay of attractive colours, lines and flowing patterns; with dexterity to switch from expressive wide strokes to subtle colour applications. He is a versatile painter with great tenacity to manoeuvre between different painting genres. Andrew has participated in several art exhibitions with notable commissions to his credit.

Some of his works can be found in private and corporate collections within Nigeria and Abroad. He is the General Secretary of the Gessomate Professional Art Society and ABINIBI’S IMPRESSION. Andrew is a fellow (fsna), a two-term Financial Secretary and current Treasurer of the Society of Nigerian Artists (Lagos State Chapter).
